    Description :

    Working with Mental Health and Wellness team to plan, implement and support gatherings and trainings focused on mental health topics and Traditional wellness.

    * To develop relationships With First Nations communities leadership, health directors and community members
    * To organize and plan gatherings and trainings
    * Attend and be support the implementation of the trainings and gatherings
    * Be an active member of our regional mental health and wellness team
    * Provide written articles on acitivies to newsletter
    * Provide a written summary after each event
    * Promotion of gatherings
    * Support with evaluation process
    * Currently enrolled in an undergraduate level Psychology, Social work, Social Sciences, or other relevant undergraduate level program.
    * Experience organizing events an asset
    * Experience working with people from different culture

    Employee Class: Temporary

    * Background in Mental Health/Substance use/social work

    * Be able to work independentely and as a team
    * Be comfortable asking questions, asking for support and reaching out for information
    * Good computer skills
    * Good communication skills
    * Proficient in English language
    * Good written skills
    * Creative problem solver
    * Must have reliable vehicle and be able to travel around the region Must be able to work some evenings and weekends when required
    * Strong people skills

    * Mental health/substance use issues
    * Aboriginal Spirituality
