    Minimum Education:

    • Completion of Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university.

    Experience:

    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in child care is required.

    Skills, Knowledge and Required Competencies:

    • Willing to work Early Morning, afternoon, evening and/or weekends as per requirements.
    • Good communication skills.
    • The candidate must be willing to undergo certification requirements in the near future.
    • Job Description:

      We are looking for an experienced Early Childhood Assistant who shall be responsible to provide care for infants and preschool- to school-age children under the guidance of early childhood educators.

      Job Duties:

      • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
      • Lead young childrens activities, tell stories, teach songs and prepare craft materials.
      • Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours (as the case may be).
      • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
      • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
      • Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits.
      • Prepare meals and snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
      • Maintain daycare equipment and assist in housekeeping and cooking duties.
      • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in maintenance and upkeep of records.
