    This is your chance to join a fun and dynamic team in the Innovative, Information Management Services (IMIT) department. The Service Desk Analyst role will support device maintenance, technical operations and work closely with the User Support Services team. You will have the opportunity to work in a busy and advanced IT department of this province wide organization. This role will also allow you to work in a team environment, enhance their understanding of First Nation culture, traditions, and FNHA’s role in improving health outcomes for First Nations all while learning and gaining valuable exposure in a professional business environment. We are looking for a smart, tech savvy person who is ready to jump in and help us make a difference!

    * Operates the regional service desk, documents and logs client requests, and assigns tasks to colleagues for resolution.
    * Installs, assembles, configures, and tests computer workstation, peripheral hardware, operating systems, and software.
    * Provides primary support for incident management relating to computer workstations, printing, the local area network, and technical services. Identifies and escalates problems relating to computer workstations, servers, communications, and peripheral hardware.
    * Provides needs assessment, technical advice, recommendations, operating assistance, and coaching on computer workstation, server, communication, peripheral hardware, operating systems, and software.
    * Maintains records of Configuration Items through the use of a Configuration Management Database, and participates in technical documentation, standard setting, and problem management.
    * Analyzes, develops, and/or modifies computer programs and related documentation, manuals, and reference material to enhance departmental computer applications. Assists in application support and application maintenance for regional and national systems.
    * Participates in new computerized systems development by following industry, departmental, and/or Regional standards.
    * Performs other related duties as assigned.

    * Completion of two years of post secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Management, plus two (2) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
    * ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Foundations V3 Certification.
