    Our Victoria office is seeking an administrative service coordinator to provide a range of support services and assistance to injured workers and the case management team. You’ll represent WorkSafeBC and the case management team by providing courteous, empathetic, knowledgeable, and prompt service to clients and service providers.

    What you’ll do

    As an administrative service coordinator you will:

    • Maintain ongoing contact with injured workers by managing various payments, scheduling appointments, and obtaining claims-related information
    • Prepare correspondence and perform other related clerical and support duties as required

    We’re looking for someone who can:

    • Independently problem solve and analyze facts to make sound decisions that reflect policy, procedures, and guidelines, while exhibiting sound judgment, discretion, and accountability for the decisions being made
    • Maintain a high level of customer service
    • Manage a high volume of work with tight timelines
    • Communicate tactfully and clearly to relate detailed and complex information both verbally and in writing
    • Create strong working relationships with a team as well as establish professional relationships with clients and stakeholders
    • Read and comprehend claim file information

     

    Your experience and educational background:

    • Grade 12
    • A minimum of one year of recent administrative office experience including providing customer service to internal and external clients
    • Must type a minimum of 35 words per minute
    • Excellent English communication skills
    • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software
    • Ability to perform accurate math calculations
