    Rate of pay: $24.25/hour

    Overtime: 1.5 times normal rate as per provincial regulations.

    Benefits Package: 4% vacation pay will be paid each payday on a bi-weekly basis;

    Medical: BC Medical Services Plan payable by employee

    Job Type: Full time / Permanent

    Hours: 40hrs/week

    Language: English

    Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible

     

    Minimum Education: Completion of Secondary School is an asset but not mandatory.

    Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the similar position is required.

    Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

    Job Duties:

     

    • Co-ordinate, assign and review the work of workers engaged in the following duties: shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and maintaining inventories.
    • Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse and coordinating inventory transfers to different locations.
    • Delivers supplies and equipment to different stores by receiving and transferring items.
    • In charge of selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling and disciplining staff.
    • Maintaining warehouse operational standards.
    • Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
    • Order, receive and maintain equipment, materials and tools.
    • Implementing warehouse strategies for quality purposes.
    • Maintain storage area and ensure the cleanliness of the work environment.
    • Maintain organized and accurate inventory records.
    • Secure warehouse by turning on alarms and ensuring the proper functionality of the systems.
    • May perform the same duties as workers supervised.
