    Description :

    This is your chance to join a fun and dynamic team in the Information Management and Information Technology (IMIT) department. The Student’s role will be to learn and assist with important device maintenance and setup by working closely with the User Support Services team. The student will have the opportunity to work in a busy and advanced IT department and learn about the technical operations of this province wide organization. This role will also allow the student to work in a team environment, enhance their understanding of First Nation cultural, traditions, and FNHA’s role in improving health outcomes for First Nations all while learning and gaining valuable exposure in a professional business environment.
    We are looking for a smart, tech savvy student who is ready to jump in and help us make a difference!

    The student will assist IT User Support Services including:
    * Active Directory/VOIP telephones
    * Multi-function device maintenance
    * Assisting in the collection and updating of information for each user
    * Assisting with the maintenance and organization of file share permissions
    * Creating documentation as required
    * IT User Support Services - documentation conversion
    * Assisting in the review and reformatting of Service Desk and end-user documentation
    * Currently enrolled in a formal co-op program in Computer Science at an accredited post-secondary institution, and returning full-time studies after the work term
    * Some experience supporting IT equipment (laptops, desktops, monitors, multi-function devices)
    * Experience working in a fast paced environment
    * Attention to detail
    * Ability to multitask
    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    * Sensitivity to and understanding of key issues and opportunities for BC First Nations Health and Wellness
