    Johnson Audio Video Ltd., one of the leaders in providing sub-contractor audio-visual installation services, located at 200Evans Ave., Unit 5, Toronto, Ontario M8Z 1J7, is currently looking for Electronic Equipment Installation and Repair Supervisor (NOC 2242) to join our team.


    This is a full-time, permanent position to start as soon as possible. The position requires a minimum of 40 hours of work per week. The offered salary is $29.00-33.00 per hour depending on experience. The successful candidate MUST have at least 3-5 years of experience in all aspect AV systems, audio DSP, control systems and IT networks installation and service work. Successful applicants will also be required to undergo criminal record check.


    Responsibilities & Tasks:


    • Supervise 5-10 electronic equipment service technicians
    • Integration and Installation of low voltage audio visual equipment for multimedia presentations in boardrooms, meeting rooms, classrooms and other corporate facilities.
    • Maintains AV equipment inventory and supply records for all technical needs. 
    • Coordinate maintenance and repair of electronic equipment
    • Reading and interpreting room diagrams with respect to AV setups
    • Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies
    • Diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults
    • Adjust, align, replace or repair electronic equipment and assemblies
    • Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly as they arise
    • Communicate with clients to address concerns and provide progress updates
    • Coordinate delivery of AV equipment on site
    • Other duties as directed


    Other Requirements & Qualifications:


    • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience of teams installing AV equipment
    • Completion of Education program in Electronics or Electrical systems
    • Proven leadership and team building skills
    • 3 years of experience with soldering, cable dressing, rack building
    • Successful applicant is required to provide a clean Driving record check (abstract)
    • Must be willing to work outside regular office hours as needed including evenings and weekends
    • Must have a valid Driver’s license and basic hand tools
    • Must be willing to work/travel to various location, in-shop, on-site customer service
      • Complies with all Company security and safety measures.
