    Job Description

    Cuisine Talent Enterprises Ltd. is BC based private company in the business of whole and retail serving great Vancouver area's corporate and individual clients by providing electronic products, small equipment, tools and household items and many other goods. It has Burnaby, Richmond and Coquitlam stores and office. Due to the current fast growth, the company is in an urgent need for a full time permanent financial officer to join its team. The job details are as follows -

    Job Title: Full time permanent Financial Officer

    Pay Rate: $26/hour; Overtime $39/hour if working exceeding 40 hours/week

    Employment Benefits: 10 days paid vacation each year and overtime pay

    Job Duties:

    • Maintain company financial records and accounting files for vendors/clients/tax agencies/employees etc. • Maintain manual and computerized data and filing system to ensure safe storage and backup of company information • Journalizing entries including company’s sales, receipts, bills, expenditure and payroll etc.; perform bank reconciliations • Checking inventory and prices • Producing periodical reports including trial balance, general ledgers and unaudited financial statements. Preparing GST returns and payroll remittances • Performing other accounting, bookkeeping and tax related duties and prepare various analytical spreadsheets for budgeting and summary purposes • Communicating with clients and vendors for aged AR and AP and conduct regular communications with company’s accountant • Other tasks as required

    Requirements • Completion of secondary school is a must. • Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field is an asset • At least 3 years of related experience• Fluent in English is a must. Chinese is an asset as most of the clients and product information are Chinese
