    Title of Position: Store Manager

    Position Available: 1

    Employment Type: Full time, Permanent (30-40 hours/week)

    Wage: $30.00/hour

    Language required: English

    Location of work: Same as business address

     

    Job Duties:

    • Plan, supervise and evaluate the operations of establishments engaged in wholesale and retail sales  in the store
    • Study from market researches to understand consumer demand, identify potential sales opportunities
    • Determine merchandise and services to be available in store, and implement price and credit policies, ability to understand the effect of competitors’ operations on sales
    • Looking for and negotiate with potential vendors when necessary to procure merchandise for resale
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to boost sales in the store
    • Monitor store revenues, contact supplies for merchandise, plan store budget
    • Evaluate customer service and looking for ways to improve customer satisfaction
    • Address and respond to customer requests and issues, settling customer dispute when necessary
    • Interview, hire, train, evaluate, promote, and dismiss staff members
    • Demonstrate and explain job duties, safety procedures, and company policies

     

    Job Requirements:

    • Completion of at least a Post-Secondary Diploma is required
    • At least 5 years of relevant work experiences is required, retail experiences in baby accessories are strongly preferred
    • Excellent management skills and attention to details
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment
