    Top Cantonese cuisine restaurant is proudly serving high quality of Guangdong style Chinese cuisine in Vancouver. We are one of the leading Cantonese cuisine restaurants in the Greater Vancouver Area. We need qualified employees for the following vacant positions.

    Cook (Dessert Focus)

     

    Hours of work/week: 30~40hrs/week
    Compensation: $13~$14/hour (Based on experience)

    Position Requirement: 1. Completion of Secondary School is required; 2. Cook certificate/completion of professional cooking program is required 【Minimum two years of commercial cooking experience is required if the applicant did not graduate from related cooking program or does not hold professional cooking certificate (Dessert cooking experience preferred)】 3. Be able to cook common/regular Chinese dessert

     

    Main Duties: Cook Chinese style dessert served in the restaurant including, but not limited to sweet dumplings, Chinese style buns/cakes and sweet potato/taro pearl soups, sticky rice cakes, dessert sauces, various fried veggie/meat dessert; 2.Train and supervise kitchen helpers in the kitchen, and assign duties to them;3.Develop new dishes and sauces for new menus;4.Maintain the kitchen, tools and equipment conditions to meet the standard, and oversee the kitchen operation;5. Maintain the ingredient freshness and quantity, and order ingredients if necessary

     

    Server

    Hours of work/week: 30~40hrs/week
    Compensation: $10.45+/hour

    Position requirement: No requirements

    Main Duties: 1.Serve dishes in the restaurant; 2. Help customers to make payments;3. Help customers for takeout or pickup orders; 4. Take calls for reservation or take outs;

     

     

    Food Service Supervisor

    Hours of work/week: 30~40hours/week

    Compensation: $13.00~$13.50/hour

    Position Requirement: Completion of secondary education with minimum 2 years of experience in field of food service OR Completion of college programhospitalityor related discipline is required

    Main Duties:  Supervise and schedule the servers in the restaurant; Train and assign duties to the servers; Check the inventory, and order ingredients and supplies used in the restaurant; Ensure restaurants employees are following company policies and safety procedures; Manage serving area operations and safety, keep equipment and tools clean and ensure restaurant hygiene; Solve any customer complaints or problem arise in the restaurant
