    Geyser Transport Ltd. located at 6707 137A Street, Surrey, BC, Canada V3W 3M8 is currently hiring 3 Long Haul Truck Drivers.

    Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

    Positions Available: 3

    Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time

    Salary: $23.60 per hour, for 50.00 Hours per week

    Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

    Location: 6707 137A Street, Surrey, BC, Canada V3W 3M8


    Job Duties:

    • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and material to destinations.
    • Oversee all aspects of vehicles such as condition of equipment, loading and unloading of goods over long distances
    • Maintain log book to record cargo information, distance travelled, fuel consumption and other information trip details and administer bill of lading.
    • Plan travel schedules, routes and obtain required documents to transport goods
    • Receive and relay information to central dispatcher
    • Ensure Safety and security of cargo and follow safety procedures
    • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems such as inspect tires, lights, brakes and cold storage and perform emergency roadside repair.
    • Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness.
    • Be able to drive as part of a two-person team or convoy

    Job Requirements:

    Education: Completion of Secondary school is required

    Work Experience: Experience will be an asset.

    Credentials: Driver’s License (Class 1 or A), Air Brake Endorsement required

    Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, bill of landing, inspection report, trans-border documentation, maintenance and repair reports

    Language: English is required


    Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, willing to travel for extended periods and overnight
